This painting shows Alice’s depiction of “Tali” or sandhills that are located in her country at Kintore, approx 500kms west of Alice Springs in Central Australia.
Alice depicts her country with bold, colourful representations. Her strong use of colours particularly yellow and red signify the ochre colours that are used in ceremonial body painting.
