"A 'tunga' is a traditional Tiwi basket, used to carry food or water when out hunting or gathering bush tucker. It is made by folding a piece of bark in half and sewing the edges together with pre-prepared 'bush string', which is usually made from the leaves of a pandanus tree. A small string carry handle is also attached."
