The painting depicts leaves from distinctive plants gathered by the Aboriginal women from Utopia, Aboriginal Art Regions of Central Australia.


The leaves are boiled, kangaroo resin added and mixed into a paste. This bush medicine is used by Aboriginal people to aid a variety of ailments.

The Bush Medicine Dreaming is celebrated in Aboriginal Womens Ceremony.
