The painting depicts two snakes travelling south to north west of Haasts Bluff in Central Australia. The concentric circles represents the caves, where the snake slept in during their journey. The Aboriginal women followed the snakes dancing while the men danced with their boomerangs.

Warna (snake dreaming) belongs to skin groups of the Japurrula and Jagamarra (men) and the Napurrula and Nakamarra (women).

The snake has become a totem for Aboriginal people, it has been passed down through the generations by the ancestral beings.
