This work represents the migration between the 'flat bottomed clouds' era between 2000 and 2010. Pieces here like 'Purveyor perversion', 'Art after powers' and 'Arterialise' were literally the first pieces in Blak Douglas' new era works whereby vapour trails became the dominant element in the skies. Two years down the track and the vapour trails now appear as the ubiquitous 'hashtag', essentially identifying each and every new painting produced. For example 'The Blakbone of the Country' becomes #theblakboneofthecountry.
