This is a story of four women gathering for the start of the women's business, the dreaming trail are the dots running through the middle of the painting, where they start their sacred paint up and style. Each skin name has a different style. The circle in the middle is where they start their dancing and when the other women arrive, they move onto the other circles, dancing, singing and telling stories along the way until they reach the last circle.


About the Artist

Paula Walker Nakamara was born in 1975 (Alice Springs, NT). Her language is Warlmumpa, though she speaks 6 traditional languages. Her homeland is Kumunu, NT.

Paula is an emerging artist whose art encompasses aspects of her Aboriginal culture, and reflects the physical landscape of her homeland, Kumunu. She has also said that it is through her art that she expresses her feelings.
