Sally Morgan used this screenprint on the front cover of her book "Wanamurragunya", the true story of Jack McPhee, born in 1905 in the Pilbara (WA) of an Aboriginal mother and white father.
Born in 1951 and educated at the University of Western Australia, Sally Morgan is an award-winning Australian Aboriginal author and artist. Her artworks are on display in a number of public galleries including National Gallery of Australia, Canberra and Art Galleries of WA & NSW, Powerhouse Museum Sydney and private and public collections, including the Holmes a Court Collection, Perth and the Kelton Foundation, Santa Monica, U.S.A.
