In this paining Willy has depicted the story of “Kunga Juta” or Women’s Story. The iconography portrays the story of the Luritja women as they sit by the rockholes collecting water (kaapi).
The construction of lines surrounding the outer of the painting represent the sandhills or “Tali” as they are referred to by the pintupi tribe.
